GLORIA DESPERATELY BEGS FOR MORE MONEY FROM OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS - In her desperation to raise more funds for her cash-strapped administration, Gloria has turned to begging for more remittances from abroad. This is an indication that her "Bayanihan Fund" has already failed miserably. Did the money find its way to their pockets once again? Predictably, the response to the fund is a showcase of how much Filipinos reject her so-called leadership, with this reality emerging in recent survey ratings which are the lowest ever for any Philippine president.
She recently announced that the fiscal crisis was over, yet she asks for more money from overseas Filipinos, supposedly to help the economy. Gloria probably thinks people are as ignorant as the Filipino economists here whom she has discarded, choosing instead to have as consultant a Peruvian economist who obviously has no knowledge whatsoever about our uniquely local economic problems.
